Thai Fried Krapow Chicken

Garlic & Holy Basil Crispy Chicken

This is crispy fried chicken like you’ve never had it before… Thai Fried Krapow Chicken brings together tender chicken breast pieces, marinated in garlic, oyster sauce and fragrant holy basil – a bold Thai herb with spicy, peppery notes and a hint of sweetness. Tossed in a golden, crispy coating, it’s a street food favourite turned flavour bomb.

Serve it as a side, a snack or the star of your plate with a classic nam chim dipping sauce (that’s sweet chilli to you and me). However you eat it, this one changes the game.

Cook from frozen

Air Fryer – 12 Minutes

  1.   Based on half a pack. Preheat air fryer to 180°C.
  2.   Remove all packaging and place pieces in a single layer.
  3.   Cook for 12 minutes, shaking half way

Oven – 16 Minutes

  1.   Based on half a pack. Preheat oven to 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas 7.
  2.   Remove all packaging and place pieces in a single layer on baking tray.
  3.   Cook for 16 minutes on middle shelf, turning half way.

 Stand 1 minute before eating. Serve with rice or as part of a Thai feast with your favourite Kitchen Joy Cubes and Sides. Do not reheat. Check food is piping hot before serving.
